Nagavalli Medicharla
Tech rock star, civic rock star, and...actual rock star. Nagavalli's parallel paths in music and business converge in her role as a dynamic civic leader in Austin's cultural arts community. An Austin-based musician and promoter, Nagavalli is a passionate advocate for the Texas music industry, Board Chair for EQ Austin, and the first Asian-American Chair of the Austin Music Commission. She is also Mayor Kirk Watson's appointee to the Arts Commission. Through her production enterprise, she amplifies diverse voices and music within the city. In 2024, Nagavalli was featured on the cover of Austin Women Magazine’s music issue. The same year, she was honored by the US India Chamber of Commerce for her leadership excellence in the arts.

With a background municipal policy, and community advocacy, she brings a unique blend of artistic sensibility and analytical thinking to every project. Anne-Charlotte has served as Chair of the City of Austin Music Commission, Downtown Commissioner, and board member for way too many Austin civic and arts organizations.
